A lot of people across the world suffer from diabetes and some of them are just not eating the right foods to help lower their sugar intake and some are eating foods that are contributing to the problem that they are having. Beans are high in fiber which in addition are great sources of magnesium & potassium. A daily intake of 1/2 cup of veggies have the same amount of protein but without the saturated fat. Adding citrus fruits such as, oranges, lemons, limes grapefruits, pineapple are great for your diet and will also aide in helping with your diabetes. Reason why they are so effective is because their packed with your daily dose of vitamin C & soluble fiber.
Adding an ounce of nuts can help with eating in addition to have magnesium & fibre
other nuts that contain omega-3 fatty acids are walnuts and flax seeds.
Having tomatoes in your diet will give you Vitamin C & E and iron and the great thing is that you can enjoy them anyway that you like and you will still receive great nutrients
