Avocado Hummus Dream-work
This is a fairly quick sandwich to make, taking only about 10 minutes. But more than just fast preparation, it is packed with flavor; the avocado and the hummus both working together to give it a great taste. I would recommend this sandwich to anyone trying to pack in a great amount of macronutrients into one convenient meal, as it is high in fats, carbs, and protein!
First, cook some bacon in a pan. I like to use 2 bacon strips per sandwich, but you can do more if you’re a bacon lover.
Second, while you wait for the bacon to cook, grab an avocado and cut it into slices. (Try to keep the slices neat and uncrushed if you don’t want to make a mess.)
Third, slice up a tomato. Usually 2 slices are enough for a regular sandwich.
Fourth, toast your bread and then coat it with a layer of avocado hummus. If you don’t have any avocado hummus, regular hummus will work as well.
Fifth, put it all together. Place your cooked bacon, tomato and avocado slices all on your hummus bread, and it’s ready to be eaten!
Avocados are well known for their healthy fats, which are essential for normal growth and development.
